Course Information:

The participant will be able to:

  • Name the safety rules before working on a high-voltage vehicle
  • Describe the display concept
  • Name the most important warning and fault messages in the instrument cluster
  • Name the high-voltage components, their installation locations and their functionality
  • Disconnect the high-voltage system
  • Check that the high-voltage system is de-energized
  • Start up the high-voltage system
  • Name the special features of the cooling and climate controlname the special features in the workshop process, service and diagnosis

  • Disabling and initially starting the high voltage system
  • Drivetrain cooling and pre-entry climate control
  • Charging the high-voltage battery

Additional Information

All participants must have their own D5 user details. The user account must be functioning and include access to GTLS and WIS as a minimum requirement.

We do not have generic user ID's

Diagnosis Technicians and System Technicians

Please make sure that your technicians have successfully completed the High Voltage on line Awareness course as this has recently changed and been updated, they must have also completed T0001F HV 1 day face to face qualification prior to attending any HV face to face product courses. Always refer to the Mandatory pre-requisites prior to attending the course.
