Retail Parts Advisor Apprenticeship The role of a Retail Parts Advisor Apprentice is a diverse and exciting role in one of the biggest car brands on the planet. You'll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving Mercedes‑Benz customers. You'll learn skills in managing stock, merchandising, forecasting, and analysing purchasing habits, as well as developing your ability to retain customers and increase market saturation. Initially working towards a Level 2 Retailer Apprenticeship you will learn the key principles, practices and skills that underpin the role. On achievement, you will progress to Level 3 Retail Team Leader to further develop and apply your skills in more complex situations. This is a great step into starting a career in one of the largest global automotive brands , which has the potential for progression, in multiple areas such as, Parts Process Specialist, Business Development and Group Parts Manager. Customer Experience Specialist Apprenticeship As a Customer Experience Specialist Apprentice, you will develop first-class customer service skills including understanding customer and business needs, critically evaluating customer service levels and implementing changes to improve the customer journey and use appropriate resources and technology to support the needs of the customer. You will acquire the skills to deal with challenging situations and develop plans to drive loyalty and retention and exceed customer expectations. Working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Customer Service Expert you will learn the key principles, practices and skills that underpin the role before further developing and applying your skills in more complex situations. Roles are either based in the Front of House areas, with a view to developing the skills to start a career in the role of Star Expert, or in the Service Department, with a view to developing the skills to start a career in the role of Service Advisor. People who complete the Customer Experience Specialist Apprenticeship have an exciting career path ahead of them. This apprenticeship may lead to roles including Customer Service Team Leader, Brand Ambassador, Service Manager, Customer Support Executive and Product Support Specialist. Well-being The wellbeing of our apprentices is paramount and we will work with you, and your employer to ensure this is always foremost in our considerations. At the Academy we have a support team, lead by a Designated Safeguarding Lead, and mental health first aiders. In 2024 over 14% of apprentices recruited to study a Light Vehicle Apprenticeship with Mercedes‑Benz were female, well above the industry average of 4%.
